Rutherford Cross is delighted to support a high-growth, PE backed organisation to appoint an Interim Group Financial Controller for a 3-month period.

Location: South Lanarkshire (office based)

Day Rate: Competitive DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts across multiple legal entities, ensuring full compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS
  • Manage the end-to-end group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting
  • Act as the key point of contact for the external audit, coordinating deliverables and resolving queries efficiently
  • Partner with senior finance stakeholders across the business to ensure robust controls, governance, and alignment of accounting policies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Immediately available
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in consolidations
  • Minimum 8 years post qualified experience (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Excellent Excel skills
