Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a growing organisation in the appointment of an Interim FP&A Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead financial planning and analysis activity across the organisation. You will take ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes, provide high-quality insight to support strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in reporting and financial processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasting cycles
  • Building and maintaining robust financial models to support strategic planning
  • Providing meaningful financial analysis and insight to senior stakeholders
  • Developing KPI reporting and enhancing management information
  • Supporting business cases, investment decisions, and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Driving efficiencies and improvements across FP&A processes
  • Overseeing the Finance Business Partner

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have strong experience in FP&A, forecasting, and business partnering
  • Possess advanced Excel skills, including working with large and complex datasets
  • Be highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into clear insight
  • Have excellent communication skills, with the confidence to challenge stakeholders
