A well established and highly regarded organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to join its finance team in Glasgow. This is a broad and visible role offering the opportunity to play a key part in financial management, reporting and supporting strategic decision making.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of core finance activities while also partnering with stakeholders across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading month end and year end processes
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reporting, budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting and challenging stakeholders through business partnering
  • Ensuring strong financial controls and governance
  • Identifying and driving process improvements
  • Contributing to planning and decision making

The Candidate

You will be a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with strong technical and communication skills. We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including industry, practice or audit, particularly those with experience working in complex or regulated environments. This would suit someone looking to build on a strong foundation in financial reporting, controls and stakeholder interaction, and move into a broader role with greater ownership and impact.
