This role will play a vital part in managing the commercial finance operations of this high‑growth business, ensuring accurate financial processes, effective franchise partner billing and credit management, and delivering meaningful analytical sales insight to support decision-making and profitable growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly sales reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting trends in performance and analysing the effectiveness of historic marketing promotions.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to project the impact of sales tactics and strategies and provide insightful analysis to the Leadership team.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, providing variance analysis on sales and royalty income against budget and forecasts.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analytical work to support business decisions, including sales reviews, marketing spend effectiveness and franchisee performance.
  • Manage inputs for royalty and marketing fund income from franchise partners, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with franchise agreements.
  • Manage credit control processes, monitor debtor balances and maintain proactive communication with franchisees to ensure timely payments and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
  • Support cashflow forecasting and management, with clear visibility of receivables and working capital requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records relating to franchise revenues, marketing contributions and other franchise-related charges.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
  • Review franchisee profitability and affordability, partnering with the Operations Team to make recommendations on incentives to franchise partners.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Part-qualified accountant ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in commercial finance, management accounting or finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, credit control and accounts payable procedures.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems.
