Rutherford Cross is pleased to be working with an established non-profit organisation based in Oban to recruit this unique Finance Analyst Manager opportunity.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing statutory accounts and managing the audit process ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information
- Managing the budgeting process, providing additional analysis on trends and variances
- Providing analysis and commentary on monthly management accounts
- Analysing staff utilisation, project costings versus budget and other business analysis of performance
- Offering support and coaching to project managers through the project life cycle, taking responsibility for arranging a project start up meeting and providing advice to ensure all costed and projected income matches project activities
- Providing cashflow forecast models
- Reviewing, developing and maintaining appropriate financial controls over the finance processes and balance sheet
- Deputising for Head of Department in Finance Committee meetings as and when required
The Individual:
- Qualified Accountant
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate well at all levels and to communicate financial information to non-financial managers
- Experience of charity accounting is desirable but not essential
On Offer:
- Salary up to £45,500 p.a.
- 37 hours p/w
- 35 days holiday
- Generous pension
