I’m working with a leading Big 4 organisation to recruit a Tax Assistant Manager for their Corporate Tax Compliance & Advisory team in Scotland. This role offers excellent development, broad technical exposure, and the chance to work with major UK-listed, PE-backed, inbound, and privately owned businesses. This is an ideal move for a qualified AM at a mid tier or regional firm, or an ambitious qualified tax senior ready to take the leap to a big 4.
You’ll manage a mixed portfolio of clients, delivering UK corporation tax compliance and contributing to a wide range of advisory projects including international tax, restructuring, tax governance and group reporting. You’ll also support senior team members on larger accounts and help develop junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a day‑to‑day contact for corporate tax compliance & advisory matters
- Deliver high‑quality UK corporation tax returns
- Support advisory projects and technical research
- Keep clients updated on emerging tax developments
- Coach and review the work of junior team members
- Assist with client management, risk procedures and business development
- CTA or ACA/CA (or equivalent)
