Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a Financial Services Business based in Central Edinburgh on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns and compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines
- Assisting Trainee Accountants with the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers
- Overseeing the preparation of payments and expenses
- Review of Finance Assistant postings
- Preparation of financial statements
- Liaising with auditors and tax advisers and arranging timely filing of returns
Experience & Qualifications
- Part Qualified Assistant Accountant/Accounts Assistant
- Experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
- Experience in Xero and Microsoft 365
- VAT experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Remuneration
- Competitive salary + discretionary bonus
