Rutherford Cross is working with one of its clients to recruit a Graduate Finance Analyst to join a growing business based in Alexandria. This role is ideal for a finance, accounting, economics or business graduate, or someone with up to two years' experience in a finance or accounts role who is looking to develop a career in commercial finance. More than anything, the organisation is looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to ask questions. If you're naturally curious, enjoy working with numbers, and want to understand how a business operates, we'd love to hear from you. The Role: Working alongside an experienced finance team, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of financial and commercial activities, supporting reporting, analysis and decision-making across the business. Key responsibilities will include: Producing regular financial and operational reports Analysing data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Assisting with commercial analysis and performance reporting Working with stakeholders across different departments Supporting continuous improvements to reporting and processes Helping to turn data into meaningful business insight About You: We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, however you'll ideally have: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience or up to two years' relevant experience Strong numerical and analytical skills Good Excel skills and confidence working with data Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership Most importantly, you'll be: Naturally curious and eager to learn Inquisitive and not afraid to ask "why?"
