About the Role
Rutherford Care, the healthcare division of the Rutherford Chase Group, is recruiting a Chef Assistant to join a busy care home kitchen in Stone. This is a hands-on role offering long-term stability and responsibility, including running the kitchen independently when required.
Working Pattern
- Rota-based across 7 days (including weekends)
- Typically 35 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal service
- Run the kitchen independently in the Chef's absence
- Maintain cleanliness, including washing up duties
- Complete daily logs and ensure compliance paperwork is up to date
