Are you an experienced Credit Controller who is looking to have overall responsibility for their ledger in a fast growing, family run company? Are you seeking an exciting business with an established product selling across the UK & overseas?
Responsibilities
- Leading the credit control process from billing through to cash collection across a multi-currency, international ledger
- Maintaining strong cash flow performance by actively managing outstanding balances and minimising overdue debt
- Carrying out key finance operations including invoicing, cash posting, allocations, and order release processes
- Designing and applying insight-led collection approaches to reduce risk and improve debtor days
- Working closely with the Financial Controller to provide visibility on performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Contributing to system and process enhancements, particularly across ERP platforms, to support scalability
- Driving efficiencies through automation and continuous improvement across finance processes
- Managing credit insurance arrangements and advising on exposure and risk management strategies
Requirements
- Experience managing your own ledger with a strong track record in debt collection and control
- Solid understanding of credit control processes and financial fundamentals
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Confidence using finance systems and an interest in leveraging technology to improve processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
