Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to step into a strategic role for a newly acquired business based in Ipswich? This is a newly created role for a business looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join their senior leadership team and take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, financial planning and help drive business performance. Only two days in the office, offering a salary up to £70,000 and the chance to build out an accounting function as the business continues its growth trajectory.

As a Qualified Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the financial control and operations including looking at ways of streamlining Account Payable, Receivable, Management Accounts and Statutory requirements
  • Project-lead for annual budgets and forecasts whilst supporting strategic decision-making through financial modelling and analysis
  • Acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership creating a pricing strategy, resource planning and profitability improvement
  • Leading, mentoring and managing a finance team and collaborating with department heads to help facilitate business growth

As a Qualified Management Accountant you will have:

  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified
  • Track record operating on leading month-end and year-end cycles
  • Excellent team management experience
