Are you a strategically focused Financial Controller looking to join a large business and take ownership of a high growth accounting function? An entrepreneurial business based in Ipswich are looking for a Group Financial Controller to lead financial strategy, M&A activity, group reporting and system improvements across a well-known brand.
As a Group Financial Controller you will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO contributing to strategy, business decision-making, market analysis and job costings.
- Take responsibility for the end-to-end production of the monthly accounts including statutory reporting, treasury, audit, tax and costings.
- Be the project-lead on all aspects of profitability, cashflow, forecasts, management reporting and working capital.
- Support the acquisition process helping with financial due diligence, integration and business identification.
- Drive constant systems, data and process improvements highlighting areas for efficiencies and new reporting tools.
- Lead, develop and mentor a growing team of qualified and part-qualified individuals assisting with succession planning and future development.
As a Group Financial Controller you will be:
- A qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background working within a multi-layered group of businesses.
- Proven at the Financial Controller, Head of Finance or similar level.
