An expanding Mid-Tier Firm in Bury St Edmunds is looking for an additional Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join their busy Corporate Services team, paying a salary of £43,000 - £55,000 depending upon experience. With the opportunity to work both flexibly and on a hybrid basis, this is something the Firm actively encourages and would even consider someone who was onsite or at clients in Bury St Edmunds only 35-40 days per year.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing audit, accounts preparation and tax compliance services for a range of businesses, with approximately 60% Audit and 40% non-audit split. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager who is ready for more responsibility and progression or for an Audit and Accounts Senior who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be joining a close-knit and friendly team with long-standing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a client portfolio with a high level of client responsibility
- Oversee your team's portfolios and plan out their workflow
- Prepare statutory financial statements
- Support and mentor the junior members of the team
