A client of mine is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team who can manage day-to-day accounting activities. They're looking for someone that is motivated, keen to succeed within finance and happy to get stuck in. There will be exposure across accounts payable and receivable, and this is a great opportunity for somoene with a few years experience in finance looking for their next role.

Responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for...

  • Processing invoices
  • Bank reconciliations and cash fund monitoring
  • Monitoring cashflow and chasing debtors
  • Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliaitions
  • Assist with prepayments and the fixed asset register
  • Support with monthly management accounts

Requirements
As a Finance Assistant, you will need...

  • A few years experience in finance would be advantageous
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Motivated, proactive and driven
  • Strong team player, with the initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
