Are you an experienced Practice Accountant looking for a part-time role where you can manage a portfolio of clients, take ownership of accounts work and provide valuable advice to a range of businesses? A well-established accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong practice background who enjoys a varied role across accounts, VAT, CIS and client advisory work, while also supporting the development of junior colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing client accounts up to management accounts level, ensuring work is accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
- Preparing and reviewing VAT and CIS returns, alongside supporting clients with Making Tax Digital and Income Tax Self Assessment requirements.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and providing clear, practical guidance on accounting and financial matters.
- Supporting clients with accounting and bookkeeping software, helping them improve processes and maintain accurate financial records.
- Working both in the office and on-site at client premises, building strong relationships and understanding their individual requirements.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, helping to develop their skills.
