We’re working with a well-established national accountancy firm to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior Manager into their modern, vibrant Stockton-on-Tees office. With c. 40 offices across the UK and a growing regional presence, this firm continues to invest in its people and infrastructure — and the result is an award-winning culture that blends technical excellence with fast-track leadership development. The Tax team here is collaborative, partner-led and driven to develop talent.

You’ll be joining as a senior figure within the department, taking ownership of advisory projects and leading a sizeable, motivated team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate clients across a range of sectors, including large SMEs and mid-market groups
  • Leading advisory work across areas like international tax, due diligence, R&D, capital allowances and venture capital tax reliefs
  • Supporting Tax Partners on complex client work and technical queries
  • Line managing and mentoring a team of 10–15, including Managers and Trainees
  • Playing an active role in workflow planning, team development and identifying new business opportunities

What we’re looking for:

  • CTA qualified (ACA/ACCA also considered) with strong post-qualification experience
