Would you be looking to join a specialist VAT team in a role focused on advisory work, client ownership and practice development. This is an excellent opportunity for a VAT professional to join an established team, delivering predominantly advisory work with clients while playing a visible role in client relationships and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality VAT advisory support.
  • Respond to ad hoc VAT queries from clients, Partners and colleagues across the wider business.
  • Carry out VAT reviews, due diligence work and other consultancy projects independently.
  • Review advice and calculations prepared by junior team members and liaise with HMRC where needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong VAT advisory experience.
  • Previous experience within a Practice environment, with confidence working directly with clients.
  • The ability to manage your own workload independently while contributing to a wider team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly in writing and verbally.
