Our client, a growing professional services firm, is seeking an Interim Finance Manager to provide vital support during a key phase of transformation. As Interim Finance Manager, you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring strong financial controls and compliance
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis aligned with business objectives
  • Improve financial processes and systems to drive efficiency and better decision-making
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital, identifying opportunities to optimise financial performance
  • Support external relationships with auditors, advisors, and other key partners
  • Provide leadership to junior finance staff, embedding a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

To succeed as Interim Finance Manager, you’ll need:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within professional services or a project-based environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of management accounting, financial controls, and reporting
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work at pace in a changing environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP, Dynamics, or similar) and advanced Excel capabilities
