Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a leading business at their flagship site near Grays.

This is a hands-on, commercial role where you’ll take ownership of all financial reporting, analysis and business partnering across warehouse operations. Working closely with warehouse and distribution teams, you’ll drive efficiencies, control costs and play a key role in improving performance.


As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with insightful variance analysis
  • Develop operational budgets and forecasts to support capacity and performance planning
  • Partner with operational managers to identify process improvements and cost savings
  • Analyse KPIs including productivity, labour efficiency and overheads
  • Support capital investment appraisals and manage asset controls
  • Maintain strong financial controls and drive continuous process improvements

As a Finance Manager you will be:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with relevant industry experience
  • Strong Excel and systems skills (ERP/WMS experience a plus)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly
  • Proactive, collaborative and commercially driven
