We have partnered with a highly successful, international business based on the Essex/Herts border who are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a full time, permanent basis to head up one of their accounting entities. You will be reporting into the Group Head of Finance, carrying out a wide range of responsibilities whilst managing a small team (part qualified/studiers).

As well as hybrid working, they also offer flexi time, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, 13% bonus and access to discount portals.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Inspire and lead the team to deliver high performance, while fostering employee engagement, development, and succession planning
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and drive the identification and implementation of process improvements
  • Direct the preparation and submission of the annual balance sheet budget, while contributing to the profit and loss budgeting process
  • Lead the team to ensure timely completion of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and related deliverables
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Ensure full compliance with all tax obligations
  • Manage the review and prompt submission of the weekly cash flow forecast
  • Support external auditors during both interim and year-end audit processes
  • Hold overall accountability for assets under construction

Requirements:

As a Finance Manager you will need:

  • ACCA, CIMA OR ACA Qualified
  • 5+ years finance experience
  • Prior experience of working in a large company
  • ERP system experience
