Are you an experienced construction estimator looking for your next career move in a reputable growing business? We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering business that delivers bespoke projects across multiple sectors. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, the company manages the full product lifecycle in-house, from design and manufacture through to installation and ongoing support. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team supporting specialist projects within the construction and structural engineering space. Monday - Friday 8:00-16:30

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate cost estimates
  • Prepare take-offs and pricing models for steelwork enquiries
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure accuracy of estimates
  • Maintain tender documentation, including pricing and compliance records
  • Assist with tender review meetings where required
  • Support the handover of successful projects to delivery teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in estimating within steelwork fabrication or a similar sector
  • Strong, proven experience in producing take-offs from technical drawings
  • Background in construction, structural engineering, or related industries
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
