Responsibilities: As a Practice Accountant, you will be… Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Producing and submitting Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns.
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
Processing payroll and handling PAYE-related matters.
Providing clients with day-to-day accounting, tax and business advice.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, responding to queries professionally and efficiently.
Using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, Sage and Quick Books to maintain accurate financial records.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required.
