Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee their payroll operations across the UK.
Responsibilities: As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for β End-to-end payroll process for 100-150 employees, including salaried and hourly paid staff.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, meeting all monthly and weekly deadlines.
Handle complex payroll calculations, including pensions, and statutory deductions (e. g., PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP).
Prepare and submit RTI (Real Time Information) filings to HMRC, ensuring full compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare detailed reports for management and auditors.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, adopting best practice
Requirements: As a Payroll Specialist you will need - In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC, pensions, and statutory payments.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
