A well-established and highly respected business is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to take ownership of the AP function, manage a team and ensure the department continues to operate efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for Overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, payment runs and team management Managing weekly BACS payments across all Group companies and ensuring invoices are processed accurately and within agreed terms Completing month-end routines, reconciliations and reporting, including monthly and quarterly reports for Senior Management Ensuring monthly CIS payments are submitted to HMRC on time and managing Payment Practice reporting Building strong relationships with suppliers and the Supply Chain team, while resolving queries and managing new supplier accounts Reviewing and improving AP processes and procedures, working closely with IT and software support on system issues Requirements As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will need Several years' experience within Accounts Payable, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and AP processes Advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting software Benefits As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will get Generous holiday allowance, increasing with service Option to purchase additional holidays Group pension and life assurance at 2x annual salary Free onsite parking Training and progression opportunities If you're an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for a role where you can take ownership of a team and make a real impact, please get in touch!
