Are you a Finance Manager who thrives in times of change and enjoys driving both strategy and hands-on delivery? Our client is looking for an Interim Finance Manager (2 – 5 years PQE) to step in during a critical period of transformation. This role is ideal for a commercially focused finance professional who can quickly build credibility, guide the finance function, and deliver immediate impact at both operational and strategic levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and commercial insight
  • Drive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Act as a key advisor to the senior leadership team on all financial matters
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and investors
  • Support the board with scenario planning, performance analysis, and strategic investment decisions
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and risk management activities
  • Provide leadership to the finance team, embedding best practices and developing capability

Requirements:

  • A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience
  • A track record of success in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within complex or transitioning businesses
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience advising board-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with financial modelling, strategic planning, and change management
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
