Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training and development activities, including both organisational programmes and individual learning requests, from initial enquiry through to booking and financial processing.
  • Prepare and distribute delegate joining instructions for training sessions, ensuring attendees are informed of locations, timings, and Trinity House travel and subsistence policies.
  • Provide day-to-day support for the Learning & Development inbox, handling enquiries and directing them appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate training completion records and regularly update internal tracking spreadsheets.
  • Adopt a digital-first approach in administrative tasks and actively contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures.
  • Assist in drafting communications, documents, and best practice guides to support knowledge sharing across the organisation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow structured processes and maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and basic reporting.
  • Excellent planning and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks independently.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals and meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to supporting the team in maintaining compliance with mandatory training and certification requirements.
