A client of mine is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team who can manage day-to-day accounting activities. They're looking for someone that is motivated to have a career in finance, preferably has a few years experience and is looking to progress. With lots of growth plans on the horizon for the business, this is a great opportunity for someone that is wanting to succeed alongside the business.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Bank reconciliations and cash fund monitoring
  • Credit card expense processing and validation
  • Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with prepayments and the fixed asset register
  • Support with monthly management accounts

Requirements

  • A few years experience in finance would be advantageous
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Motivated, proactive and driven
  • Strong team player, with the initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
