A well-established accountancy practice in Chelmsford is looking to appoint an Audit Manager to join its expanding Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, lead audit engagements from planning through to completion and work closely with the wider team.

- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered.
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, reviewing work and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the audit process.
- Coach, mentor and develop junior members of the team, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Work closely with Partners to manage workflow, identify advisory opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.
Requirements:
As an Audit Manager, you will need...
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
- Previous experience managing audit engagements and reviewing the work of others.
