Are you a part-qualified auditor looking for your next step? The client is a well-established, leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisors in Cambridge who work with local, larger corporate companies and businesses trading overseas. Responsibilities:

  • 70% of the time planning audit engagements and leading onsite teams
  • 30% of the time preparation of accounts and drafting tax computations
  • Communicating with clients to address queries, referring more complex issues to the manager or partner as necessary
  • Conducting a review of team members' work prior to submitting the final file to the manager
  • Mentoring juniors and providing feedback on work quality and performance
  • Controlling assignment time in line with pre-determined budget

Requirements:

  • Part qualified ACA or ACCA
  • Experience of undertaking statutory audits in an accounting practice in the UK
  • Client facing experience
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • Experience of audit software (client uses CaseWare) and Microsoft packages
