This role offers the opportunity to support the Management Accountant while gaining valuable exposure to new ERP implementation and broader business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including interim budget updates.
  • Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data.
  • Contribute to compliance across tax, PAYE, VAT, pensions, and insurance obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to drive cost efficiencies and improve financial processes.
  • Develop knowledge of financial systems and controls, contributing to ongoing improvements.
  • Act as the internal point of contact for IT queries, liaising with external IT consultants and support partners.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • AAT qualified, studying, or planning to study ACCA or CIMA.
  • Strong Excel skills with good numerical and analytical ability.
  • Keen interest in IT systems or tech process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
