Are you a qualified Management Accountant looking for a new role? Our client is a long-established, UK business with a strong reputation built over decades and a continued focus on expansion. The business is now looking to strengthen its finance function through hiring a Management Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the management accounts cycle including budgeting, forecasts and all aspects of month-end reporting.
  • Be the project lead around costings, overheads, profitability exercises and system improvements.
  • Business partnering with the wider business identifying trends, analysis, and driving efficiency gains.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor bank balances across the group daily, and prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing insights to management.
  • Month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
  • 2+ years' experience in management accounting.
  • Be available to start a new role in July.

Benefits:

  • Salary - £45,000 - £55,000.
