Are you a qualified Management Accountant looking for a new role? Our client is a long-established, UK business with a strong reputation built over decades and a continued focus on expansion. The business is now looking to strengthen its finance function through hiring a Management Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the management accounts cycle including budgeting, forecasts and all aspects of month-end reporting.
- Be the project lead around costings, overheads, profitability exercises and system improvements.
- Business partnering with the wider business identifying trends, analysis, and driving efficiency gains.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Monitor bank balances across the group daily, and prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing insights to management.
- Month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
- 2+ years' experience in management accounting.
- Be available to start a new role in July.
Benefits:
