Seeking an Audit Manager who combines technical expertise with strategic insight to lead audits that drive real business impact. We are working with a client which is a leading accountancy and tax firm known for excellence and a supportive, inclusive culture. Their Audit Services team handles audits for a diverse client base, from SMEs to complex groups, and delivers high-value non-audit work including valuations, due diligence, and specialist reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage audit risk assessment as well as planning
- Be exposed to a variety of clients, working with CEOs and directors
- Have an active understanding of the commercial accountancy market
- Deliver cost effective audit which meets the necessary UK requirements
- Manage a team and aid with the development of junior staff
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 & IFRS
- Ability to supervise and delegate to junior staff
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Experience in dealing with complex audits
