Are you an experienced Auditor ready to take the next step into an Assistant Manager role where you can lead engagements, mentor junior colleagues and work with a high-quality client portfolio?

A leading accountancy practice in Cambridge is looking to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager to join its growing Audit team. Responsibilities:
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will...

  • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
  • Review the work of junior team members, providing coaching and technical guidance to support their development.
  • Work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and provide additional value to clients where appropriate.

Requirements:
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will need...

  • ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified (or overseas equivalent).
  • Previous experience leading external audit assignments within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and UK auditing standards.
