Are you an experienced Private Client Tax professional looking for the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join the Ipswich team of a leading accountancy practice. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility across a varied private client portfolio while developing their technical, leadership and client management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of private clients, including more complex personal tax affairs, ensuring high-quality and compliant work is delivered.
  • Reviewing complex Private Client tax returns, tax packs and correspondence before they are issued to clients.
  • Building strong client relationships, responding to queries and providing practical tax advice and support.
  • Delegating and reviewing work across the team, supporting junior colleagues and helping to develop their technical skills.
  • Supporting business development activity through networking, identifying opportunities and helping to build new client relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong experience within Private Client Tax, ideally gained within an accountancy practice.
  • ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge with excellent communication, organisational and client management skills.
