An award-winning and rapidly expanding business is looking to recruit a Group Accountant to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys a hands-on reporting role while contributing to process improvements and finance projects within a dynamic environment.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in group reporting, statutory accounts, audit coordination and continuous improvement initiatives, with exposure to a broad range of financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and review of monthly group management accounts, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and act as a key contact during the annual audit process.
  • Prepare and investigate balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, maintaining strong financial controls and governance.
  • Lead and support finance improvement projects, including systems implementations and process enhancements.

Requirements

As a Group Accountant, you will need...

  • ACCA or ACA qualified with at least two years' post-qualified experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in financial reporting.
