Are you an experienced Group Reporting professional looking for an exciting interim opportunity within a large, fast-paced organisation? We’re exclusively partnering with a market-leading business based in Bishop’s Stortford to recruit an Interim Group Reporting Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. As Interim Group Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering accurate, timely, and insightful group financial reporting. Working closely with the Finance Leadership Team, you’ll provide technical accounting expertise and ensure compliance with all relevant reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Group financial statements
  • Manage the external audit process, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met
  • Oversee the delivery of technical accounting papers and disclosures in line with IFRS/UK GAAP
  • Provide technical guidance and act as a key point of contact for group reporting queries
  • Support process improvements and systems enhancements to drive reporting efficiency
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide strategic insight and analysis

About You:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in group consolidation and reporting in a complex, multi-entity environment
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / UK GAAP)
  • Previous exposure to listed or large private businesses advantageous
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level
  • Available to commit to a 12-month FTC, working 3–4 days per week
