Have you previously assisted a business at a strategic level? Are you looking for a new challenge to assist a business with the next chapter of growth? We have an opportunity for a commercial and strategic Finance Director who will support the Board of Directors with decision making. This business has doubled in turnover through acquisition and now needs a higher level of financial insight and planning.

As the Finance Director you will gain an understanding of key business drivers to provide added-value analysis to the business across commercial, finance and compliance, together with development, monitoring and reporting of relevant business KPIs.

Key responsibilities;

  • Work closely with the Board contributing to building growth strategy and work closely with management and budget holders across the business
  • Present information to financial institutions in any future growth plans
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee insurance, legal matters and commercial contracts
  • Contribute to and sign-off pricing decisions across different product offerings, understanding how pricing and formation of products impacts margins across the business
  • Lead the preparation of project budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial projections. Monitor financial performance against budgets to ensure adherence to financial goals.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, providing strategic insights to project teams.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, to support informed decision-making at both project and executive levels

What you will bring
