Are you an experienced estimator looking for a new opportunity within the energy sector? This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation, playing a key role in producing accurate and commercially competitive estimates across a range of projects.

Working closely with commercial, operational, and pre-construction teams, the successful candidate will support bid activities, contribute to pricing strategy, and help drive overall project success within a technically demanding environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review accurate cost estimates and quotations for high‑voltage electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Support tender submissions, bid reviews, and commercial proposals to ensure competitive and commercially viable pricing.
  • Work closely with project delivery, commercial, and pre‑construction teams throughout the bid process.
  • Review market rates, supplier pricing, and subcontractor quotations to maintain competitiveness and margin performance.
  • Assist with cost planning, cashflow forecasting, and commercial reporting activities.
  • Support continuous improvement across estimating processes, including post‑project reviews and lessons learned.
  • Attend client meetings, bid discussions, and site visits where required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience within HV electrical estimating or infrastructure estimating environments.
  • Strong understanding of utility, electrical, or infrastructure project delivery.
  • Commercial awareness with experience supporting cost control and margin management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced commercial environment.
