Working closely with commercial, operational, and pre-construction teams, the successful candidate will support bid activities, contribute to pricing strategy, and help drive overall project success within a technically demanding environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review accurate cost estimates and quotations for high‑voltage electrical infrastructure projects.
- Support tender submissions, bid reviews, and commercial proposals to ensure competitive and commercially viable pricing.
- Work closely with project delivery, commercial, and pre‑construction teams throughout the bid process.
- Review market rates, supplier pricing, and subcontractor quotations to maintain competitiveness and margin performance.
- Assist with cost planning, cashflow forecasting, and commercial reporting activities.
- Support continuous improvement across estimating processes, including post‑project reviews and lessons learned.
- Attend client meetings, bid discussions, and site visits where required.
- Proven experience within HV electrical estimating or infrastructure estimating environments.
- Strong understanding of utility, electrical, or infrastructure project delivery.
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting cost control and margin management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
