This represents a key strategic hire, offering the opportunity to join the senior leadership team and play a central role in driving financial performance, supporting continued growth, and shaping the future direction of the organisation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will lead the finance function while providing high-quality strategic insight across the business. Responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team, ensuring best-in-class reporting, controls, and processes
- Delivering clear financial strategy to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Managing cash flow, working capital, and financial risk across the business
- Ensuring robust governance, compliance, and internal control frameworks
- Partnering closely with operational stakeholders to drive profitability and performance
- Supporting key commercial decisions, including bids, contract negotiations, and investment appraisal
The Candidate
We are seeking a credible and commercially minded finance leader, with a proven track record in a senior role and the ability to operate effectively at board level. Key requirements include:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA essential)
- Demonstrable experience within a Finance Director position
- Strong commercial acumen, with the confidence to influence and challenge at executive level
- Experience operating within a business of comparable scale
