Finance Administrator in Chelmsford

A client of mine is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 6-12 months experience in finance, who is looking for a business where they can get stuck in and be hands-on with the financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer receipts from various payment channels
• Match receipts accurately to customers, sales orders, invoices and payment plans
• Monitor upcoming and overdue collections and follow up failed payments
• Review sales and payment documentation to ensure transactions have been processed correctly
• Respond to customer and internal finance queries
• Process customer refunds and maintain associated credit notes and records

Requirements

• Previous experience in a finance related role
• Strong attention to detail
• Good excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a busy workload
