Our client is a long-established UK business with a strong reputation built over decades. With continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their finance function with the appointment of a Management Accountant.
The Role
As Management Accountant, you will:
- Play a key part in the management accounts process, including budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting.
- Assist with projects covering costings, overheads, profitability analysis and system improvements.
- Liaise with the wider business, identifying trends, providing analysis and supporting efficiency improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Monitor group bank balances and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Carry out variance analysis between budget and actual performance, providing meaningful insight to management.
- Support month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Completed OR completing level 4 AAT OR studying your ACCA qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience in month end accounting
- Strong systems and Excel skills.
- The ability to analyse financial information and communicate findings effectively.
- Appetite to further develop, learn and study
