A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics/automation company as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer's state-of-the-art highly automated distribution centre in Warrington. Seeking either electrically or mechanically biased multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the large engineering team.

Benefits:

  • Salary of c£57k
  • 3 on 3 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (6-6)
  • 24 shifts per year holiday
  • 6% match Pension
  • Bonus and Share schemes (c£4k annually after qualifying period)

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly
  • Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system
  • Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Apprenticeship trained, with Level 3 engineering qualifications
  • Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
  • Experience of automated materials handling systems
