Salary: Up to Β£33,000 + 10% afternoon shift premium + 5% annual bonus Location: Ruddington, Nottingham Hours: Monday to Friday morning and afternoon shifts Overtime: Saturday time and a half | Sunday / Bank Holidays double time Wagstaff Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector for a well-established precision manufacturing business in Ruddington. This is a hands-on inspection role within a clean manufacturing environment, inspecting machined components and working closely with the wider Quality and Manufacturing teams. What you'll be doing * First-off, in-process, final and visual inspection * Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings * Using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other precision measuring equipment * Identifying and raising non-conformances * Supporting problem solving, corrective actions and internal audits * Maintaining accurate quality and inspection records What we're looking for You will need previous inspection experience within a machining, precision engineering or manufacturing environment, together with:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Practical experience using micrometers and calipers
  • Dimensional and visual inspection experience
  • Good attention to detail Experience with CMM, OGP, gauge pins or GD&T would be advantageous but is not essential. Package
  • Salary up to Β£33,000
  • 10% premium on afternoon shifts
  • 5% annual bonus
