Project Coordinator – 6-Month Contract Location: Bilsthorpe We are recruiting a hands-on Project Coordinator to support a Project Manager on a live construction project in Bilsthorpe. This is a practical coordination role rather than a senior project management position. You will help keep day-to-day site activity organised, working with contractors and ensuring the required documentation, site arrangements and health and safety records are kept up to date. Day-to-day responsibilities Supporting the Project Manager with the daily coordination of the construction project. Assisting with health and safety activity on site. Coordinating contractors and site visitors. Completing daily project reports, toolbox talks and contractor inductions. Keeping drawing registers and project documents organised and up to date. Updating project management systems. Arranging site visits for employees and subcontractors. Supporting diary management and meeting coordination. Maintaining accident and working-time statistics. Helping with site logistics and statutory approval paperwork. Providing general administrative support as required. What we are looking for An SMSTS or SSSTS qualification – this is essential . Previous experience in project coordination, site administration or a similar support role. Practical site supervision experience. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once. Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. A practical and approachable communication style when dealing with contractors, colleagues and other stakeholders. The ability to work independently while providing reliable support to the Project Manager. An FLT or MEWP licence would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
