A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics/automation company as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer's automated distribution centre in Stoke. Ideally seeking electrically biased, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the engineering team. If you have strong electrical skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role could be a great fit for you.

Benefits:

  • Salary of cĀ£53k
  • 3 on 3 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (6-6)
  • 24 shifts per year holiday
  • 6% match Pension
  • Bonus and Share schemes

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly
  • Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system
  • Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
  • Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
  • Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
  • Happy to work a shift pattern with days and nights
  • Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
