A Shropshire based food manufacture are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (with strong electrical skills) for their production facility based in North Shropshire. As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems. Role: Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer 4 on / 4 off Days and Nights (7am/pm to 7pm/am) (one week days, one week nights) Opportunity to work in a modern food process manufacturer Benefits: c£48k + paid overtime Auto enrolment pension scheme (combined 8% contribution) Onsite free parking Staff shop discounts Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer: Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements Experience and skills required: Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level Multi skilled, strong electrical skills / experience Apprenticeship trained Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production Food manufacturing experience would be very desirable Knowledge of servo drives and inverters PLC knowledge would be advantageous To apply If you are an experienced multi skilled electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge at a great company please apply by sending your CV, or if you need further information please contact Stuart Cooper on: mail: Wagstaff Recruitment – Building Trusted Relationships to Create Great Opportunities JBRP1_UKTJ
