Our globally operating manufacturing client are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Operator to work in their brand-new Mould Shop at their site based in South Nottingham. As Production Operator you will work on a Mon to Fri rotating Morning and Afternoon Shifts, and be responsible for setting-up and operating the moulding machines and supporting equipment to make specified components that meet the quality, design and production requirements. This is a hands on role so you will need to be comfortable with lifting and moving raw material and finished components (within UK H&S regulations).
Shifts:
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, and Fri 6am to 1pm
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 1pm to 8pm
Salary and benefits of skilled Production Operator:
- £28k + 10% shift premium paid on afternoon shifts only. (£29,400 / £15.07 per hour)
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Annual bonus scheme (up to 5% of salary)

Required skills:
- Experience of working with machinery in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience of Moulding machinery and processes would be advantageous.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Must exhibit proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings, assembly procedures, bills of materials and routing.
- Ability to get to Ruddington (NG11) for a 6am start.
