Great career opportunity for an experienced Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager to join a successful global company at their manufacturing site in South Nottingham, operating within the precision engineering sector.
As Production Manager, you will have responsibility for all production areas on site, managing a team of approximately 70 people.
This is a genuinely hands-on Production Manager role.
The company is looking for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, working closely with teams, making daily operational decisions and driving projects and improvements rather than being sat behind a desk all day.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement are key priorities for the site, so a strong understanding of Lean / CI principles is essential.
A Six Sigma qualification or similar would be highly advantageous.
You don t need to have worked as a CNC operator, but you must have previous management or supervisory experience within a precision engineering / CNC manufacturing environment.
