A Staffordshire based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Team Leader for their production facility in Lichfield. As a multi skilled Maintenance Team Leader you will be part of a shift of 3 engineers to manage and support the team as well as providing engineering support to the production area for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems. The site is part of a group of sites/businesses across the UK / Europe. Role will suit an experienced Team / supervisor or someone who has stepped up to support in a Team Leader role and looking to progress.
Role: Multi skilled, ideally electrically biased Panama shift – Days and Nights (12 hour shifts) 7-7

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Team Leader:
- Support team with training and development
- Motivate team members
- Complete appraisals and any discipline requirements if required
- Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
- Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
- Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required of Maintenance Team Leader:
- Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
- Experience of managing a small team
- Multi skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills / experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- Food manufacturing / production experience required
