Field Service Engineer β Garage Equipment
Multiple roles along M1 Corridor β Ideally based in Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Coventry, Northampton or surrounding areas
Β£35,000 β Β£40,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel
A well-established and growing garage equipment wholesale business is looking to add multiple service engineers to cover a regional patch, working on a catalogue of top of the range garage equipment.
This role is a field based role focused along the M1 corridor. Youβll be joining a team of 30 Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with field service experience, either working on garage equipment or other transferrable service work. Youβll be exposed to a variety of equipment types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.
The Role
- Installation, service, maintenance and repair of garage equipment
- Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites
- Planned preventive maintenance and inspections
- Working on a wide range of equipment
- Covering a regional patch
The Candidate
- Previous experience working on Electromechanical/Hydraulic equipment
- Could be from transferrable industries, eg a forklift engineer or car mechanic
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
Package
- Β£35,000 β Β£40,000 basic salary
- Regional travel
- Overtime available
- Realistic OTE of well over Β£40,000
- Ongoing support from a large, experienced engineering team
